## Creatures
### Velociraptor
Aggressive pack predator with dangerous claws — it can trap and confuse you. Hunts in packs, **can open doors**, bad swimmer.
- **Biomes:** Beach, Savanna, Bamboo Jungle
- **Taming:** drop raw meat nearby and crouch, repeat until tamed
- **Loot:** Raw Mutton, Velociraptor Claw, Velociraptor Tooth, variant Leathers
- **Skins:** each raptor is born with a random skin (7 normal variants plus the red Alpha), and each drops its own leather. Rename one `blue` with a nametag to switch it to the special Blue skin (drops Blue Leather); rename it anything else to revert to its birth skin.
### Velociraptor Alpha
The strongest raptor — vivid colors and red particles. Aggressive and powerful pack leader.
- **Biomes:** same as Velociraptor
- **Taming:** same passive method
- **Loot:** Raw Mutton, Claw, Tooth, Alpha Leather
### Megaloceros
Neutral giant deer. It ignores you if you pass by, but attacks if you stay too close. Flees from carnivores.
- **Biomes:** Snowy, Forest, Taiga, Plains
- **Taming:** feed it apples directly
- **Loot:** Raw Mutton, Special Leather (3–6, used in hunter armor)
### Herrerasaurus
Dangerous pack hunter that traps prey like the raptor. Flees home at low health. **Ridable and usable in combat.**
- **Biomes:** Desert
- **Taming:** knock it out with torpor, lower its health, put food in its inventory
- **Loot:** Raw Mutton, Giant Bone, Sharp Claw, variant Leathers
### Albertosaurus
Hungry aggressive beast, expert in shoves and heavy hits. Enrages at low health, can lose its tail, escapes to its base. **Not tameable.**
- **Biomes:** Plains
- **Loot:** Monster/Giant Bones, Strong/Weak Leathers, Sharp Claw, Sharp Fang, Skull, Tail
### Tylosaurus Proriger
The king of the seas — aggressive when hungry, keep your distance. **Ridable and usable in combat.**
- **Biomes:** Special Deep Ocean
- **Taming:** knock it out with torpor, lower its health, put food in its inventory
- **Loot:** Monster/Giant Bones, Sharp Fang, Scales, Fin, Skull, Tail

## Weapons
Three tiers — **Wood** (starter), **Bone** (balanced), **Albertosaurus** (heavy) — each with 6 weapon types, every one with its own combat kit:
- **Katana** — builds charge while fighting: *Samurai* damage ramp + *Kenjutsu* sequential cuts.
- **Hammer** — 3 charges that build torpor/knockout points and stun enemies.
- **Great Sword** — heavy area slashes: basic 1-2-3 combo with a knockback **finisher** + directional charged shockwaves.
- **Dual Blades** — ultra-fast assassin weapon: *Demonic Madness* stacks + dash *Killing Charge*.
- **Spear** — aerial fighter: upward launch + aerial propulsion area damage.
- **Automatic Gun** — ranged: rapid / piercing heavy / slowing special shots.
Plus the **Aquatic Trident** (Water Element + Sea King passives, infinite air jumps in rain, underwater dash) and torpor tools (weakness bow/crossbow arrows, wooden club).

## Armor and Abilities
Mix and match pieces — buffs **stack** and level up to **Lv 4**:
| Set | Identity |
|---|---|
| Leather Advanced | Balanced hunter gear |
| Bone Advanced | Stance, shields, bone-breaker |
| Albertosaurus | Hunger-powered regeneration |
| Velociraptor | Bleed, climbing claws, raptor essence, kinetic speed |
| Acuatic | Full water kit: breathing, mining, submarine, sea king… |
| Tylosaurus | Double levels, advanced knockout, extra health |
Highlights: **More Health, Better Potions, Strategic Retreat, Steady Stance, Better Shields, Bone Breaker, Advanced Knockout, Roar Resistance** (blocks wild roars by tier) and the full **aquatic suite**. Effects are removed when you unequip the piece; potion and beacon effects are left alone.
### How abilities stack and level up
Each armor piece and some weapons grant ability points (normally +1, a few grant +2, shown in the item tooltip as `+1` / `+2`). Points for the same ability from everything you wear **add up**. The effective maximum is **level 4** — wearing more pieces beyond that gives no extra benefit. Check your totals in the parchment menu under Analyze Equipment, or inspect each piece under Detailed Piece Analysis.
Example: Tylosaurus Helmet grants Roar Resistance II and More Health II. Adding Acuatic Chestplate (+1 Roar Resistance) brings Roar Resistance to level 3.
### Ability list
- **More Health** — extra max health per level.
- **Better Potions** — drinking a potion also gives Regeneration.
- **Strategic Retreat** — Speed when health drops below 40%.
- **Steady Stance** — brief Resistance when using an item.
- **Better Shields** — blocking with a shield pushes enemies back.
- **Bone Breaker** — hits ignore armor (+1 heart per level).
- **Advanced Knockout** — hits build torpor; at 20 the enemy is stunned.
- **Albertosaurus Hunger** — Regeneration and Resistance at low health, costs Hunger.
- **Roar Resistance** — blocks wild roars of its tier or lower.
- **Climbing Claws** — climb walls, faster per level.
- **Raptor Essence** — bonus damage on jumping hits.
- **Light Bleeding** — hits apply Wither (2 seconds per level).
- **Kinetic Speed** — Speed after sprinting 5 seconds.
- **Water Element** — +2 hearts of water damage per level.
- **Sea King** — Slow Falling when leaving water or jumping in rain.
- **Aquatic Submarine** — swim Speed in stages plus a forward push.
- **Aquatic Miner** — Haste in water or rain.
- **Aquatic Eye** — Night Vision in water or rain.
- **Aquatic Breathing** — +60 seconds of air underwater per level.

## Systems
- **Torpor & knockout** — weakness arrows or club to knock creatures out, then feed them.
- **Breeding & babies** — breed tamed pairs, reclaim grown babies.
- **Mission Board and parties** — see below.
- **Spyglass and genders** — see below.
- **Hunter points & ranks** — earn points hunting, climb 4 mission ranks.
### Missions and the Guild Master
The **Guild Master** is the NPC who hands out hunts. Talk to him to open the Mission Board, pick a rank (1 to 4 stars) and choose a mission: gathering, culling, or taming. Each mission shows what you need, the time limit, the entry cost in hunter points, and the reward.
Accepting a mission creates a **group** and opens its menu. Other players can join from their Current Mission menu while the group is waiting. The player who created it is the **admin**: they start the mission, remove players, or disband the group. A waiting group expires after 10 minutes without a start.
Once started, everyone shares one **progress pool** — any member's kills, gathers, or tames count for the whole group. If time runs out, the mission fails for all. On completion, every online member is paid separately with the quest-complete fanfare: emeralds, points, and items are **split equally per player**, with any remainder going to the admin.
Playing alone works the same way with a one-player group: full reward, same rules.
### Spyglass and genders
The **Spyglass** identifies any creature you aim at. The action bar shows its name and state (wild, tamed, knocked out, or taming), health, torpor progress, **gender (male or female)**, and taming progress while feeding.
Every creature is born male or female, and gender matters for **breeding**: only a tamed male-female pair can produce babies, which you then raise and reclaim as adults. Two tips shown in game: use weakness arrows to build torpor, and when a creature falls asleep from low health, crouch and keep your distance.
